Guidance for Beginner?

Does anybody know any good links, books, or DVDs for a beginner? I'd really like to get my feet in the traditional world but I don't know anybody that shoots one so I'll be self taught. I'm having trouble finding what's comfortable and still allows me to be consistent

I think it is important to understand the basic concepts and trad bow nomenclature before you jump in and start shooting. For me that involved reading books on the subject. The two that helped me the most were "Shooting the Stickbow" by Anthony Camera and "Become the Arrow" by Byron Ferguson. All the terms and advice trad archers throw around can be confusing until you understand the basics. Learning those basic concepts before you start will shorten the learning curve.
