Riser Question

Ok this OMP recurve I got appears to be separating in the riser. Is it possible to take it apart and redo it? I am checking with guy I got it from to see if they will warranty fix it first. Just weighing out options.

I'm not sure. Warranty would probably be your best bet. You may PM Randy Madden if not, he's a bowyer and may be able to help you.

Cool thanks, I just heard a cracking sound when I was shooting and noticed it is starting to separate.

If the riser is delaminating, you are probably out of luck! Hope you can get it warranteed.

Sorry but if the riser is splitting or cracking of any sort it's done, new riser needed..

Hope you have better luck with yours than I did with mine. Mine delaminated and cracked right at the shelf.

Was told this one has been refinished by Bob Sarrels, so hoping it's all good.
