I had the bow at one time, and Ive also shot the new samick sage longbow, which is an upgraded platform from the red stag, the sage longbow has less handshock than the red stag, quicker, quieter and a bit smoother...the red stag was ok, it will fill the bill but the sage longbow is a much better option
I haven't... but I own a longbow that is just about the same... and if I were to make a bet, I would bet samick made it (samick actually makes quite a few bows for other brands...)
Like GG22 said about his experience, the similar bow I have has a decent amount of handshock that makes is less enjoyable to shoot as an everyday bow. Fun to try and tame and I am accurate with it, and have killed rabbits with it... but it is what it is... a $100 bow and it isn't necessarily a jewel in the rough like the samick sage recurve.
