I put two of my 250g target tips out of the test kit on shafts and shot them today. Pretty much just walked outside and around the burn pile so I could see the target and took the shots. I was aiming at the little blue "+" that is below and to the right in the picture. The shafts are a 500 spine Beman Bowhunter and a 600 Spine GT Traditional. Same inserts, nocks, fletching and both 30" long. After I fired them I stepped off the distance and came out with 27 paces, guessing 25-26 yards.
I did this just to prove to myself that I can accurately shoot a tip that heavy.
Proof is in the pudding they say, below is the pudding.
