    Arrow question

I just ordered 50# replacement limbs for my Samick sage recurve (upgrading from 40# limbs).

My question is what size aluminum arrows would work best for my setup to shoot off the shelf?

I am currently shooting some carbon GT arrows but wanted to experiment with something new.

    Thank you for your time.

Unfortunately, too many variable (not enough information) to give you a specific answer but can give you a starting point.

Start with a 1916, 2013, or 2016. That will get you in the ballpark. Try this chart here:

Decide on a point weight, your draw length using the left margin for a Aluminum Arrows. It is easier to make a stiff shaft softer by leaving extra length and increasing point weight than it is to stiffen an arrow that is too soft.

Easton 400. Is what I used and they tuned fairly easy with 125 up front. 27.5" draw 29" arrow
Went to 250 up front and 28.25 arrow and worked wonders
      Good luck

If your actual draw weight is 50# at your draw lwngth, then you should be able to get a 2016 to work. Just let tuning tell you what to do to it as far as length and front end weight goes.
