The west side of Huntsville is out of East Texas though. It's in the Post Oak Savannah. Huntsville is the dividing line of The Piney Woods and The Post Oak Savannah.

You might wanna contact TBHer Josh (4feathers) he builds Sweptwing, very impressive recurve. I believe he's in the Houston area like mention above Roland is another good local bowyer.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure Josh isn't in Houston... I am pretty sure he is in the San Angelo area of the state.

I LOVE my Sweptwing, just got back from Kansas and killed two big toms with mine! Josh lives out in a wide spot in the road out in this direction. If you like high mass, fast bows with little to no shock then get a Sweptwing. I have two of his and will be getting another as a backup to the second one I have. The first one wasn't quite what I wanted, but this one is EXACTLY what I have wanted. I've shot Sarrels, Black Widows, Stalkers, and Josh's bows fit ME the best. Your mileage may be different.
