Austin Archery Club will once again hold the IBO Mid-America Traditional Championship. Date: April 29th, 30th, & May 1st. It was a great tournament last year and again promises to be a weekend of many events to participate in: IBO Championship course, Hunter Challenge course, Team Shoot Down, and Individual Shoot Down. Yes that class is called "Traditional Hunter" this year. They changed the name of the "Vintage Hunter" class due to some confusion with people thinking you had to shoot a vintage bow. This year in the Traditional Hunter class you can shoot any arrow you want, including carbons, but arrow has to be 10gr/lb of draw weight, with a minimum of 450gr. The weight of the arrow has not changed.
