Longbows tend to be quieter than recurves!

I like hybrid longbows the best followed by recurves. Hill style longbows are alright but a lot more finicky for me shooting them.

Recurve right now because it is the flavor of the month

My long bow is a 34" compound. My other one is much shorter at 32 inches.

I have owned both and have appreciated different aspects of each. The only longbow that I ever got comfortable shooting was a Bear Montana, I even preferred it over a few custom longbows that I have had.
My favorite is my Jenkins recurve. That bow is incredibly light in the hand, and has the potential to shoot way better then I can.

Recurve. It feels right and shoots well, although the old Ben Pearson is quite long at 66" and can be challenging to manage hunting.

Recurve because that's all I have. Got It couple weeks ago having a blast with it, except when I lost those 3 arrows in the trees!
