How was the recovery ? Did he go very far ?

I made a good quartering shot on mine. It still made it somewhere between 100-150yds. When we found it, one of the guys noticed an "X" shaped scar on one side. When I quartered her up (it was a ewe), I found a 4 blade muzzy buried in the offside shoulder from the scar. I had no indication before I shot her that she had ever been injured! They are very tough animals!

I've heard they are tough as nails and expect to do some tracking if you shoot one with bow but 150 yds is not bad .
