Might try RMS gear if you do not get anyone here.
They are a traditional bow specialty shop in Colorado, they have more recurves and longbows then a candyshop has candy. RMS keeps an online bow inventory and if you are willing to go through the long list, you will probably find something you like at your price. I know of a few I would like to have for 400 or less on their site right now.

Are you new to trad archery? If you are just getting started, you might try a Samick Sage, They are about $140 at Three Rivers and they shoot very well, just not a purty as a custom made bow. Also recommend 45# (or less) if you are just starting out because correct form takes a while and if you are overbowed, that can cause some habits that are REALLY hard to break. Ask me how I know!

I've been shooting for about 2 years. Sage is slow and the game master is great but just looking for a change.
