    I Think I Saw a "Puddy Cat"

I was riding behind my home yesterday afternoon to level my road a bit and just past my Wife's Deer Blind I saw a yellow animal about 3-4 foot long entering the woods off a power line right-of-way. Couldn't be 100% sure because I only saw it for about 2 seconds in tall grass. I'm almost positive it wasn't a dog and with the color, I am 99% sure it was a cougar. I got off the tractor to see if I could find any tracks but the ground was too hard to see anything.

I know they travel a big area and this is the first time I have witnessed anything like this. Walking to the stand before daylight with a longbow or recurve will be a bit more interesting this year.

Funny you say that...I had my cell phone in my pocket but by the time I reached for it, the "????" was gone. I was truly disappointed and honestly was wondering when I would be called out for no pics. Trust me, I tried but failed.

In that case I'm sure it was solid black right?

Just don't string your long bow until you get to the stand and you can use it for a spear.

It was light tan. But I see what you did there.

I'm sure I will have my Sig in hand while walking before daylight.

If you're really wanting a good picture, I hear that carring a can of opened Tuna fish in your back pocket works! Maskes your scent in the stand too!

                    Sorry, just couldn't resist.
