Don't give up on him till the hunt is over, Arvin. I shot a nice impala on day 7 or 8 of my hunt and just grazed him in the leg and brisket, only to have him walk in right in front of me on day 10 (the last day), over a mile from the place where I had shot him the first time. The second shot was perfect, and I ended up coming home with no unrecovered animals!
