I have not seen them far off and stalked them I have seen upon them in brush and stalked them to get a better view. I don't think they are as smart as coyotes though, but I have a cat like prowess so I am the exception . But good job and was not trying to steal your thunder.

Thanks for all the replies. Yes I do plan on mounting it,due to the stalk & all. I am not a hunter just for the trophy, but that may never happen to me again,at least not in the area I am hunting.
