Colorado Bound!

My son and I are heading west on July 6th to spend a few days scouting for elk sign. Plan to hang several cameras on good sign as we find it. It's been a very wet summer so we will see what kind of sign there is around the water holes. Going to venture out to check new areas I haven't made it to. The temps are nice but a good chance for rain every day. Will be excited to get up there opening of the archery season and check cameras that have been out nearly 2 months! Going to be fun!

Well set your watch for 3:30 -4:00 for that rain at 8000' or so each day. Where you going to look and will you be on foot or horse back? You may check the South San Juan out. Good fishing at red lake , trail lake , and tobacco lake , and the Conejos river. Arvin

We will be on foot with our camp on our backs. Will camp where ever we stop each day. Going back to the same place I've been hunting with friends the last two years. Learning more and more each hunt but this scouting trip will help me learn much more. Looks like we will have rain daily so we will be prepared
