Massie made a heck of a bow,too bad he quit making them.I am not sure of that specific longbow, but I would start with the thumb.Make a fist with the bottom of the fist being at the rear of the shelf (belly) to the string,or just enough brace height to clear the fletching.

About 6 1/2" - 7". Shoot it for fine tuning to the quietest fistmele.

Awesome bow. Kin I have it?

I am really looking forward to it. traded my recurve to a great guy Doyle. Turns out he is just a recurve guy and I am just a longbow guy. So it just works. I will shoot some pics when i get it!

              And thanks for the advice

actually 7 1/2 works well for me at my draw. Very nice have a little arrow slap but intend to put seal skin on it. shot number 4,5,6 all in the bullseye at 15 yards. It is a dream thanks Mitch. Did you get the recurve yet?
