Not sure if Roland Jenkins is still building bows, he's in Huntsville. He makes a good recurve & he may be @ the Glen Parker Memorial shoot

Jason, you could go down to Houston and see what Lynda has at x10 archery. I haven't been there but she's big into teaching kids and may have a couple things in his range, granted it might be more junior olympic style over traditional, not sure. Otherwise, give me a shout and bring your bow and your boy over to my place. I've got one of sarrels "little newt" longbows, around 17# if I remember right, and my wife's sammick that might be in the 20's at his draw length. I'd be happy to fling some arrows with yall, give me a call if you still have my number. Tod and I will be at the chester shoot if you wanted to give that a try too. If one of my bows works for your bow, he could go too and use one while you check out the bows on display.

Hey AJ I think we are going to go to that shoot in Chester. I couldn't get anyone on the phone at the bowyers listed so we ended up going to the bow zone in spring. They had a good selection of recurve takedown bows so we settled on a good one at 20lbs.
