Forgive me if I brag on this kid just a little. He's a great young man from a great family in little 'ol Eagle Lake, Texas.

I congratulate USArchery (who I too often find myself criticizing) for highlighting a barebow archer on their main page.

The other two young men on the US Junior team were both Texans as well, shooting out of TomB's facility in Victoria. It was an all-SE Texas team bringing home the medal for the USA.

It's my pleasure. If I'm not at work or home, I can almost always be found teaching archery. The range is my "second home". Keeps me out of the bars (and off the golf course lately).

I've said for years I get more out of coaching than I ever did shooting, and I suspect I get more out of it than my students do.

Yea, you're right. That one hits a guy "right there..." He's a great kid who has been raised the right way.
