Would y'all hunt a pig with this setup?

Gold tip traditional 3555 cut at 29". 145gr steel force traditional out of a 40# Samick sage drawing 28.25". Stu showing 425 grains, 10.5gpp, 16.2 foc, 179.5fps, 30.3 ft-lbs. Do y'all think 425 grains will penetrate at all?

Yes I would. Of course I like to shoot pigs between 60 and 80 lbs.

I have been known to throw rocks at them, so I might not be the gauge.

Yup. Put it in the right spot and claim your hog.

I think it would work. May not want to shoot a monster with it but should work on most normal hogs.

I personally wouldn't hunt with it. Not because it won't get the job done, but because I shoot better with a little more draw weight. Make sure the broadhead is sharp and put it in the right place and you're good to go.

This.....and use a string tracker to help you find the pig. If you don't get a complete pass through, it's not going to bleed very much.

Yeah I would... although I like the little piggy's around 70-80 pounds.
