I got the same e-mail, but deleted it, figuring it was a scam. What struck me was how they got her address and phone number as part of her signature, or maybe those were fake too? But it was written poorly, and the story of her being stuck in Ukraine was too unbelievable.

I don't know, but I'm guessing your reply confirms to the scammers that your e-mail is valid and active. They might use that to send more spam, phishing and other scam-type e-mails to your e-mail account. Just don't click on any attachments to any e-mails unless you're absolutely sure about them.

Got one also, but I seem to get them regular from other people I know, when I see I need assistance with 2 mil $' they go to the trash.
