I'm Finally Back In The Game! Best Group Ever!

Went to chemo for 8 hours today, came home and decided to shoot a few.

As most of you know I have basically started over; transitioning from shooting instinctive with a longbow to gap with a recurve.

The new bow is tuned, the arrows worked great, the quiver fit perfectly, the new tab is cut to size and customized, I found my anchor and my gaps (well, a couple of them). Things are really coming together!

I just shot my best trad 8 arrow group I have ever shot. Was from about 16/17 yards. The round before this one had 3 twelves.

Here are a few pics and how I added an O-ring to the new 3 under Saunders Pak Tab.

I am feeling really good lately and as long as this new chemo recipe dies not kick my butt, I will be at a 3D tournament soon!

      Good shooting JP!

You know I an still sending up prayers for ya!

I got a question about the saunders 3-Under tab. Does it not come with a finger loop just like the split finger version? That is very odd that there is no attachment point to keep it in/on your hand when you release!

I just went to saunders website and it shows the tab looking like I described.

Did you cut the finger loop off of yours for some reason?

Yes, it came with the attachment point, but I cut it off
I was disappointed with a few things with the new tab. It is only available in large right now and it was just too darn big. It was cutting my lip and flopping around on my fingers, hence the reason I cut off the original ring. I just happen to like the O-Ring better than the Saunders design. I actually copied the design from the Eagle Flight Archery tab and I had several extra O-rings already.

The other thing I was not happy with is that the back of the tab was cut and not solid. It's OK, but I would like it to be solid. Seems kind of cheesy that they did that. I may get motivated and manufacture my own layers...maybe. Other than that it shoots GREAT!

Hey, when are you going to come over and shoot and see my TV antenna set up?
