Got my son a bow at 3, he played around at shooting it, then when he was 5 1/2 or so he was able to focus on it, and do pretty well, so I would say he her started and make sure that she is having fun. Having fun for my son at that age was flinging 5-6 arrows in the backyard and then being done.

She is 4. Santa brought for her this past Christmas. This has only been her second time to shoot it. It is a Samick Shadow.

I know the feeling.. kinda under took the father figure for my girlfriends boy..I got him a bow for Christmas as well and that's all he wants to play with great feeling knowing that he wont be like the rest...
