I've done this a few times with my compound, but this was a first with my longbow. My groups still aren't where I want / need them to be, but I'm practicing more, getting better, and made this lucky / unlucky (depending on how you want to look at it) shot today. One Gold Tip Traditional 3555 trashed. The other just had a loose point.

Thanks for the comments everyone. We aren't shooting far. It's only 10 yards right now, and I generally never shot over 20 yards in the past with this particular bow (45lbs at my draw length). I'm way out of practice with my longbow, but I am trying to remedy that situation. Good? Naw! Lucky shot? More like it. But I'll take it!

My wife and I have put a couple hundred arrows into the target over the past few days, and she is determined to get better - So I can see a lot more practice in the future. That target to the right is hers.
