My shooting for the past two or three years has been fair, but nowhere near the level I once was, nor want to be.
Today I spent most of the day dissecting my shot sequence, and evaluating the effect/results I was getting.
I have suspected I had a grip problem for a long time now, but was just to hard headed to really work on it.
Well today I put my hardheadedness aside, and faced up to some realities.
Started shooting with an open handed grip, and voila - my accuracy immediately took a huge leap for the best. I was feeling the shots, and drilling golf balls at 50 yards better than half the time. The other half weren't missing by far.
It still felt insecure to me, so I made me a wrist sling just to keep the thought of dropping the bow out of my head. Just a braided paracord bolted into the stabilizer bushing, that isn't tight, but provides me all the security I need to keep from thinking about it.

All is now well in Rick's world of archery.
