Re-formatting Sd card

can anyone tell me how to refomatt an SD card? Much appreciate!

Most digital cameras and trail camers have a "format" feature on their menus somewhere.

I can format a SD card on my el-cheapo Simmons trail cams.

What are you using it in?

I reformat on the computer after downloading.

Put it back in cam and delete pics and make sure it will take a new pic. It should be reformatted.

I format on the computer. Put your sd card in the drive. Double click on my computer then right click on the sd card drive. A list of options will appear including format. Left click on format. You should get a warning that it will clear your card click ok and your done.

Hi n8vtxn1, what you suggested is what I have done with 5 different SD cards and when I put it back in the camera is shows error. I have tried to reformat these many times & can not get them to work, is there any other method? Thanks
