I hope I'm not violating any rules, but since I'm not selling this bow, I don't think I am. I won't get my feelings hurt if this gets deleted.
Anyway, a couple of weekends ago, a guy came over to learn how to make a selfbow, and we made two hickory selfbows. He took his with him, and I still have mine. I was going to give it away on Craigslist, but I thought I'd see if any of you want it first. I don't want to mail it, but if you're willing to come pick it up, you can have it. I live in NW Austin.
It's got a leather floppy rest and the handle is wrapped in green twine. It's not a real fast bow, but it might be fun for target shooting for somebody. And with such a low draw weight, they could probably get away with youth arrows.
