I built a 10 stand astro flight string and I have to say I'm loving the string so far. Soft and easy to work with and pretty good speed.
I only draw 28.5 as well. 550 grain arrow 60" zipper nitro longbow

I haven't tried the astro flight material yet I have been using the xs2 and have been making a 10 strand string with it also and have love it also. I haven't chronoed it yet to see what I have gained but definitely shoots good. -
What is your draw weight?

Astroflight is a great material.
SK78 HMPE Dyneema.
I used it for myself for a good while.
Only thing I ever didn't like about it was it doesn't resist abrasion very well, and has bit more creep than I like at lower strand counts.
By the way - it's pretty much the same thing as BCY D10/Force10.

Brownell's new Rhino material is outstanding. It's the best all around I have ever seen for building high performance flemish strings.
Prior to it I used Ultra Cam, but the Rhino is turning out to be a bit better. Performance wise they are the same, but the Rhino does not fuzz up like the UC does, and all the reports I am getting, plus my own experience shows it to be a bit quieter on the shot.
