      Thanks Deb.

Plan on pushing it back to 100 yards when I can, but I didn't have the tools to do it today.

Naaaaaaaa. I love watchin em air out.

I'm really digging not having to shoot through the brush.

Finally finished working for the day, and flung a few arrows.

After warming up on 30, this was my first attempt on a 60 yard walk up.
              60, 50. 40. 30, 20, 10.

Then I got feelin all froggy, and did an 80 yard walk up.
I dug dirt on the 70 & 80 on the first two trys, but on my third attempt I had it dialed in.
              80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10

              I'm a happy camper.

No need for me to have a range that long! While I don't mind taking an occasional rediculous shot, if I did it all the time, I would just be cussing about the lost arrows!

                Have fun,

The good thing about this range is - I really never have to worry about over shooting the bale, and the ground is all sand.

That bale is 5.5 ft tall.

On the long shots, when I shoot low, they just stick in the dirt, and I pick them up..

At 80yds, I may be 10yds short one shot, and 10yds long the next!

Notice I said I dug dirt on the 70 & 80 on the first two attempts.
I start out knowing I'm gonna shoot short, and work my way up.
That way I know I'm not gonna go over.

I've been shooting 60 a lot lately, so I know where to hold for it.

You're lucky you have sand, out here in west Texas we have to have our lanes as wide as they are long to be able to find arrows when they ricochet off rocks.

Occasionally the arrows will slip in under the dirt, but it's easy to see where they hit, so it makes it easy to find them.

I have a range like that too Rick. Mine is unmarked yardages though. Some times I lose the range for extended periods though

                              Heh Heh, Nice range Bob.

If I can ever get my 15 Mckenzie 3d targets back from the feller I lent them to, I might have just about all I could ever hope for in a home range.
