Replacement Fast Flight String too Thin...

OK guys, someone here has had this issue I'm sure...My Sage recurve is fantastic, the string they (3Rivers) recommended replacing the stock dacron with is a Fast Flight branded Flemmish Twist string (not so great)...The issue is my GoldTip Traditional arrow's nocks don't clip on the serving worth a darn...not enough to keep the arrow nocked while drawing the bow, certainly not with the clothes pin draw length measurement test...(don't have a measuring arrow)...
what's a person to do to remedy this? I know you don't want it too tight on the string or you'd have a none fired arrow or a slower speed at best...I was wondering about adding one layer more of serving of about 1to 2 inches over the existing....what say the old schoolers
I've tried replacing the nocks that came on the arrows with GT nocks sold separately (white ones) and they are the same...
It's obviously an issue cause now I've gotta worry about dry firing the dang thing or worse not have the arrow fully on nock and have it jack me up or something....

Serve the area where the arrow nocks on with a little dental floss.
Just wrap it on until you get the fit your want.
Once you get the fit you want, and have it tied off, heat it just a tiny bit to melt the wax in the floss & round it out with your fingers.

After that you're good to go.

Thanks....is there anything wrong with using fishing braid?...I"m sure regular serving string would be too thick to use...but I've used Power Pro to tie my peep into the split (not the serving knots above and below but just the wrap around the peep...what say you...the reason I ask is cause someone had this same issue with this string, I noticed in the reviews and they told him the same thing, dental floss....I wonder about 20lb Power Pro....
        Thanks for you help...

Middle serving of the string comes in different diameters, may just do a complete reserve with a larger diameter serving.

You can use fishing braid. Most of it is made from the same material as bowstring serving anyway.

I use 0.30 serving on 10 strand D-97 or 12 strand fast flight . Or what Rick says he is the string guru.

This is what I do. 10 strands and 0.30 is just right for Goldtip nocks. I built a 9 strand and needed to add a strand under the serving with .030, but it worked great.

OK, got it fixed...I served in a single layer of PowerPRo 30lb braid right at the bottom of the brass nock and put about a 1/2" of length in the serve. I watch a great instructional Youtube vid on how to start and finish a serving...very simple...arrow "clicks" on much better now and I don't have to be thinking about it while learning how to shoot better...
Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions...
