Little bit of action. Had a couple hares hang out eating, then a yearling came in and ate right after sunset until shooting light was gone and he trotted off. Kept hoping his big brother would come in.

Not a bad first hunt. Good thing I have 4 more days.

Had a spike come in within 5 min of me getting here, followed by a doe. Doe was spooky and ended up bounding off before I even moved and the spike wandered after her.

War zone opened right at shooting light. Had to have heard 15 shots around the hills.

Had about 7 hens come in 10 minutes ago.


Still waiting to hear from my dad. I am pretty sure he was one of those first shots.
