I hope I'm not jinxing myself but figure what the heck. This is my first trad season and I am still chasing my first kill so here we go. Should be on stand by 5pm. Service maybe iffy as I usually only get one bar of service there. If that's the case I will update as soon as I get off the stand.

Just settled in the blind. Pigs were south of feeder when I stalked in, think the are waiting for feeder to go off. Wind is perfect but its hot.Comment

Nothing at the feeder but its early. As hot as it is, I don't expect much movement until last half hour of shooting light. Steady breeze feels nice, kind of wish I was in a treestand instead of a ground blind.Comment

Had a doe cruise by about 50 yards out but did not come in. Pigs just now came by and seem to be held up in the brush. Hoping for a shot soon.Comment

Shot about 100# sow. Penetration was not the best but shot placement looked great. I saw where she ran into brush and heard her growling. Gonna wait an hour.
