What do you mean by flatbow/longbow hybrid? Do you mean flatbow/English longbow hybrid? So the belly is going to be slightly rounded?

It's a "D" cross section at the ends of the limbs, a rectangle cross section near the handle and intermediate to the two in the center of the limbs. Starting at the handle the belly progressively transitions from flat to half-moon rounded.

I finished tillering a while ago and shot about 20 arrows with it. It shoots good and strong but I am going to need to do a little work on the arrow shelf. It is pulling the feathers off. Any ideas on staining it?

Looks good. Stain it in a sunburst pattern.

                    She's Done

Well I finally finished the flatbow/longbow hybrid. It is pulling about 45# still and doesn't seem like it is going to drop off much. I have not yet fine tuned it, but I can pretty consistently stay in a 12X12 pattern at around 30 yards.

Good job on the bow! Next time, you might want to get those outter limbs bending more to distribute that flex a little more evenly.

I second the sunburst pattern. Those are cool.
