Hi Friends and neighbors. I wanted y'all to hear about my great weekend.
It all started with an invite to a good friend's ranch. Well we had a fun trip, we took the long way, lol. We had a couple pit stops on the way, of the good kind of coarse. We met up with some TBH Brothers on our trip for a nice visit at their ranch. We all hoped for an eventful weekend.
When we made it to Pa's Ranch we all warmed up for a while. Sometimes the warm up sessions are worth the trip alone. We started out shooting at a 100 yard target, with surprising success
That evening we all went our stands and the hunt was great like always. Mike knows how to setup a bow stand like nobody's business
We made it till Sunday evening before we shot anything. Let me tell y'all if this buck would have been a BC deer I could not have been more excited. When the buck offered me the first chance at a shot I was shaking too bad to take the shot. When I say shaking, I was shaking! I have been lucky to shoot some very fine deer with a bow over the years. Sure, I always get excited, but a good buck with a longbow was a high that I have never been on while hunting.
