How will the price of gas affect you,your 3D shooting and this coming hunting season?

Ahh - thought you were giving us one of your bean recipes! Not going to affect me - If I have to I will buy another takedown so I can use my motorcycle. At least it gets about 50 MPG.

3D's I'm shooting in as many as I did last year, we carpool. Hunting basicly all I have to do is step out my back door.

I have an older car that I might just start using for some of my hunting....when I go to places that I don't need my truck. I was looking at it today and I can lay the back seat down (or just rip it out completely) and can fit a TON of huntng stuff in there. My big cooler will fit in the trunk as well. Who knows, but the 25+ mpg it gets SURE beats the 15 mpg my Powerstroke gets....

I must drive 300 miles each way to hunt, so it will have a major impact. I will have to take fewer trips that are longer in duration. I am slao concerned about the cost of corn. Woody

Well, in just a hair past 2 years I'll have one kid graduated with two more to go. I'll be old, but I'll eventually have a lot more "me" time.

If ya'll need a hunting partner and have a place to hunt I will split the gas for ya in exchange for a hunt...

I sedcond the corn thing, might not be able to feed as much this year it 9.50 a bag at a feed store near me.

I've already missed one of the shoots that I like to attend due to the cost of fuel.

I hope to attend some shoots that are a little closer in the near future. I guess I need to start shooting.

Also, I planned building a new longbow this spring to take to some of the 3D shoots. I guess it will have to wait until I'm out for summer vacation.

I have skipped 3d shoots that I have gone to in passed years. I thought I was going to miss Chester but my 14yo son acted like I canceled Christmas so we will make it this year. I will be shooting more at my home town club but its set up is more for wheelbows and is just not as fun for us but it still affordable. fewer hunting trips and more overnighters
