Make sure and pack layers of clothing. Out trip last year included morning fishing trips and afternoon hunts we were in the sun all morning and in the stands in the afternoon. Hence the need for layers as the temperature fluctuates a lot. Take as much wind/water proof gear as you can as most of our movement was by boat therefore it was quite a bit colder with the possibility of getting wet. Rubber boots are a must! That's the only thing I'm taking this year. Makes getting around a lot easier without the worry of getting your feet wet. I purchased an extra release today just in case. I would take a face net just as a precaution. Where are you guys headed?

Just like anything else you're going to have to find something that works for you in terms of price and comfort. Last year was my first adventure to Canada and I did not pack rubber boots. I got by but I had to be extremely careful getting in and off the boats. This year I purchased a pair of Irish Setter boots to make the trip with me. One other thing I would encourage is the rental of a sat phone. Don't know if you'll have service with your phone or not. I was told by AT&T that I would have service and lets just say I did until we landed!!
