    Right Wing VS. Left Wing

I have a few arrows with left wing feathers, and a few with right. I know I'm about to ask yet another very rookie question, but what is the difference? They both seem to fly great for me.

As long as you have all RW on the same arrow or vice versa, I don't think there is a difference. I have a mixed bag also and they all hit the same spot...at least when I don't screw up!!!

It dosen't matter - left or right - but you can't use left and right on the same arrow. I am a stickler so every arrow I own is the same (right wing). You will find some bows shoot one or the other better because of clearance issues, but either can be set up correctly for any bow. Also if you really get into the trad thing you will probobly start to build your own arrows at some point in time which means getting a fletching jig and other accessories. I have a certain color scheme that I use on all my arrows and I fletch them all the same.

lots of theories about lefties using left wing and righties using right wing (or vice versa), but for the most part it doesn't make any difference. I use both and have no problems....at least no problems with my feathers

Like was said, as long as you dont mix them on an arrow, theres not much difference. I use left wing cause years ago when I started in archery that was what was most availble and all my flecthing equipment is set up for left wing.

Found if you have trouble with a right or left wing fletched arrow put the cock-feather in.. Works great and helps arrow flight. I do not worry about cock feather in or out - however it goes on the string will work and fly exactly the same for me.
