Need some feather help, please

Ok, seems like after the Arrow of Light Awards last weekend, I somehow volunteered to furnish all the supplies and build the award arrows for next year. That being said I am looking for anyone that would be willing to donate some feathers from their turkey they get this year while hunting. I am looking for the ones that are about 4-5"s and 6-7"s inches long (I know they aren't wing feathers). Anyway I am needing 24 of each size for decoration on the shaft. Anyone able to help out can PM me when they have something so we can work out the transporting.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When I shoot one , you can have as many feathers off of it you want. I'll pm you when I got them. Plan on shooting some more shoots in Waco this season so I can get them to you or really close at least.

Thanks Deb, and just to clarify to everyone, I am not looking for the wing feathers. I am needing the body feathers like the tail feathers but not the large ones, the shorter ones. I am going to hang 2 of them on either side of the painted area as a touch of decoration. Thats why I need two different lengths. I posted up 4-5"s and 6-7"s in my original post but an inch shorter in both sizes would probably be better.

What about some secondary wing feathers? Nice barred feather but I don't keep them, a little to soft for me. Are tails to large?

I happen to know a guy that has about 700 processed turkey feathers that are ready to go. His name is Terry and he is a little hard to deal with. Some say he knows nothing about archery or making arrows. I am pretty sure he might make ya a deal on some.

I'm turkey hunting in seguin this weekend. Heading back to Rockwall on Sunday. Got to take a detour to pick up kids in kemp. If anyone needs a TBH express from seguin or NB area. Let me know.

Trying to get my buddy his first spring turkey. If we get more than one down, you can have all the feathers.
