Define Pass-Through

I know there's different perceptions of what a pass through is so I'm just taking a survey. I consider a pass through to be an arrow that shoots completely through an animal before it even moves. I have talked to others that consider it to be penetrating with an entry and exit hole. I'm curious to see what the consensus is. Thanks, Jeff

To me, it's when the arrow is in the dirt, or bouncing off of rocks, on the opposite side of the animal, from where you shot from.

I say when you shoot all the way thru an animal.. Your whole arrow goes completely thru an lays/sticks in the ground right where you shot the animal at..

Yep, pass through is as you describe. When the broadhead exits the other side, but not the whole arrow I have always called that complete penetration without a pass through.

Pass thru, arrow completly goes through animal on the shot and sticks in dirt, tree or laying on the ground where the animal stood when shot. Complete penetration is a hole in and a hole out, but arrow did not fully exit on the shot.

It's when the arrow passes through.

If the arrow is still stuck through the deer's body and the broadhead has made an exit hole on the back side, that's a "poke through".
