Spring time weather makes me mad at Bears

I am really fighting the urge to jump on a plane and go kill a Bear.
I'm not sure that there is a finer critter to stick a arrow in than a Bear.
A really cool animal, living in some great country

Nice job on the bear and video. I am working getting another trip this year. I shot a black last year with my longbow. If I get to go again this year I will try and hold out for a blonde or cinnamon. It is that time of the year when I would like to bear hunt as well.

Bears all across North America are trembling in their bear boots. The word is out that Buff's Black Widow is thirsty, and the only thing that can slake that thirst is bear blood!

I've been itching to go as well, especially after being twice and coming home empty. My last hunt was with Pete in Maine and the bears just would not cooperate, but he does run a great operation.

My first hunt was in Idaho...has to be some of the prettiest country I've ever been in. I just wish my outfitter would have been worth a dang and we would have seen A bear.

What's it taste like?

I can only speak to the black bear that my friend Sam Stephens gave me....it was freak'n delicious!!!! My kids now like bear steak better than venison....and they love deer meat
