Good 3D shoot today

Took my youngest to a local 3D shoot this morning. I picked up a little longbow for him a few weeks back and he really likes it. Here are some pics.

That is one thing about Louisiana, wearing my LaCrose boots. Here I wear my snake boots. Looks like you have a little shooter there. Where is this course? I still get back over that way somewhat often and and would not mind making a shoot over that way.

I try to keep it fun. If he wants to shoot closer than the stake, I let him. It's his call. I bring snacks in my pockets in case he gets hungry on the course. Works out that I eat them most of the time lol
Little rascle will call dad out and have me shoot from the compound shooters stakes now and then!
I ordered some 1/4" nocks and glue on field points. Picked up some 1/4" wooden dowels yesterday. We will build him some arrows together. A few Flu Flu's so he can shoot the aerial targets with me...
