I shot a recurve and a longbow of his, really nice bows, but I would have to say the easiest shooting bows for me would be Bob Sarrels bows.

I have one and let me tell ya - it shoots where you aim period. No handshock, fast and the riser keeps the bow in hand the same shot after shot.
His wait time is extremely short for such a great bow. Once you shoot one you will fall in love!

I have a Toelke Whip I ordered from Dan back in January. Great bow. Quietest bow I have ever "not" heard. No hand shock. Very smooth draw. If you find yourself in the San Antonio area, drop me a line and you can shoot it. I think Dan will send you one to try out before you order. He is great to deal with.

i have a few things on the way to me from dan now but not a bow

i have probably spoken to him on the phone about 3 hours total and every bit of it i was learning from him
he's a real nice guy to deal with

do you need a strong teqnique to shoot them? i intend to buy one as my first longbow eventually

the only ones i own i made myself and they definately aren't professional
              yet

We don't need no stinkin' technique... actually they are very easy to pick up and point and shoot. I think the locator/thumb thingy really helps to eliminate a lot of technique problems we all seem to have at various times in our lives. I had never owned a bow like his - over 35 custom bows (all made specifically for me) over the years and this one shoots easier than any I have ever had before. Literally took me 3 shots to get on to the bow and how it felt. The more I shoot it the more I like it.
