This riser is awesome, and for the price you just can't beat it.

I got a larger grip (wood) for it now. It fits my hand much better, and it looks much better also. The little standard plastic grip made me feel like I was holding a broom handle.

This is undoubtedly the hands down best shooting recurve I have ever picked up. I'm pretty sure I'll be hanging on to this one.

The only changes I have plans for is a set of the more upper line of limbs such as the TradTech BF Extremes, or the Border Hex 6's. I might even be selling my Blackwidow PMA to fund a set, but I'm not sure, cuz the Wida shoots nice also, and is real purdy. Something I'll have to think long & hard on.

The limbs on it now are the lower line of TradTech carbon woods, but they really do shoot nice. I just want a little higher draw weight, and the only way I can get it is with the more expensive limbs.

I have less than $200 total invested in this bow. Of course I didn't buy any of it new.

        Thanks.

        Just an FYI:

You can purchase both this riser, and this set of limbs from Lancaster Archery brand new at a very affordable price.

        The riser - $189.99
The limbs - $179.99 for the set

$369.98 for a bow that will shoot as good as (in my opinion better than) any of the $1000 plus bows you see out there today.

Now - That's something to think about when you're on a tight budget.

As promised, here are the performance specs on the finished bow.

First a screen grab of Stu's calculator.

Everything was spot on but the speed, and the calculator was a little stingy
              with that.

Here are the high & low FPS from 10 shots.

To say I'm pleased would be an understatement. Ecstatic is more like it.

              I love this bow !!!!!!!

No sir. It actually made me gulp. LOL

These arrows hit like a freight train.

Interesting build up/out on your strike plate Rick. Gotta love a bow that shoots a heavy arrow close to 200fps!

That is a bolt with a piece of velcro stuck over the end of it.
Seemed easier than building up with layers of velcro, but the result is the same, which is - gets me where I need to be. I'm shooting these arrows at dead center on the center shot measurement.

Technically it is an off the shelf shot bow. I just hope TBoT sees it that way.
I'm looking forward to hopefully making some of the shoot this year, but what I am really looking forward to is hunting with this rig. It's gonna take some pretty solid animal matter to stop these arrows.
