    Short recurves can be nice!

I was about to sell my DB T2 so I could buy a Matrix or T5 but I thought, why not at least try to shoot out of it first. My little 56"r works just fine! I still want a Matrix but the T2 isn't going anywhere just yet. Since I had it up, I practiced out of it. My last 6 arrows (1 shot groups) were right in the sweet spot at around 12 yards. That will get ya excited.

I like the short bows 'cause I do a lot of hunting out of pop-ups or otherwise tight spots.

I shoot short bows almost exclusively, but then I'm short! Love my Bear Kodiak magnum, Browning Nomad Stalker and Pearson BP-H52 in a treestand or pop up.

I like the heck out of my new wildcat as well, though my 3rd finger is sore and swollen after shooting around 800 or so arrows out of it this week! it does pinch just a little after that much shooting, finger is numb got find a thicker, better padded glove. cant wait to try it out in my pit blind though.

Shooting 3 fingers under I found helped with finger pinch. At least the nock is not being squeezed into the sides of your first 2 fingers.

Just out of curiosity, do any of you guys shooting these short bows feel there is less forgiveness than say shooting a 66" or 68" longbow. These or the lengths I have always shot. I would love to have a shorter longbow for hunting if they shoot about the same.

Yep, they are less forgiving.....but just keep paying attention to your form and at hunting distances you won't have any problems...

I shoot a 66" Acadian Woods longbow and LOVE shooting it, but for hunting it is a bit cumbersome and hard to get around in the brush or in a blind.....

SOOO....I also have my 52" Shrew Classic Hunter (short longbow )that is a DREAM to shoot out of a blind, shooting at bunnies out of a truck, or crawlin' around in the cactus and thickets.....
