    I mi, mi, uhhh, mi

I shot at a deer and the arrow didn't come in contact with the intended target. I couldn't bring myself to even say it.

I prefer nothing interfered with a perfectly tuned arrow in flight!

It was a shot at a buck that was loping by me. Two smaller bucks had already come by at a lope before the one I shot at. The buck I shot at was a huge six point with no brow tines that Andy and his Dad had already said to shoot if I could. They said he was impressive and he was, about 19" wide and 13" G2's and 11" G3's. He was close to P&Y as a six pointer. He was at 27 yards and I just led him too much, shot was just in front of his chest about 4".

WhenI hunt I pray before every hunt. And one part always goes (lord if I'm presented with a shot please let it be a clean kill or a clean miss) look at the bright side, a wounded animal isn't the result.

Since you gap , you must have just made a yardage mistake. Happens to everyone at some point. Your got to work on distance judging just as much as shooting.

It happens. Did the arrow survive?

My yardage was right but my lead was wrong.

Sorry to hear that Bob. Especially since Andy was depending on you to take out that 6 pointer for him. I know you were using your old trusted Pronghorn...... So now you should just send that bow to me for safe keeping.
