I saw a really good buck slipping along a little wash the other day but I didn't put any value to it. I saw him a couple days later as I drove to a stand, almost in the same spot and going the same direction. I decided to check it out midday yesterday. I immediately saw a big rub on a large possum haw tree. I went to look at it and saw another further on. There were rubs every 30 to 50 yards down that little thick line of trees along the little wash. All the rubs are on large trees but one was just huge. Here is a picture of the smallest and largest trees that I saw rubs on. The big cedar is tore up all the way around. In the second picture of the cedar you can see another large rub just past it. I really want to see this deer up close.

I checked the camera this evening and there was a picture of two nice bucks but I don't think either is the one that made the rubs. They just don't look big or old enough to be rubbing trees that big.
I hunted it this evening but was running late, clock is still on savings time so it was a little after 4:00 when I got in there. Didn't see any thing but 3 does. Yeah I know, I wear really old camos.
