McAlester Army Ammunition Plant Pays Big!

Weekend before last my borther scored big at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. He was able to kill a 165" 10point that was 8 1/2 years old. I wasn't as fortunate, but happy for him. Last time I put him in the best spot though.

What makes it even better is his recurve he was going to use split a limb the week before we went, so he grabbed his short bow fishing bow and went with it. 12 yards and double lung. Made it maybe 30 yards.

That's awesome. I heard there were only 4 deer taken out of 300 hunters last weekend. I sure hope they allow compount shooters in the years to come!! I enjoy looking at the ten most wanted on their website!!!
