    Close yet again!

    After missing those coyotes at 35-40 yards 2 week ago. I have been doin lots of practice from that distance. This evening i had a nice 8 following two does step out. He came down the trail at about 35-40 yards I felt really comfortable drew and took the shot, only to have the buck wheel out of the way of my arrow. I know with out a doubt if he wouldn't have wheeled I would have made a perfect shot. He was just a lil to fast for the ol' longbow. .Trent.

    Yes, that's the problem with those longer shots, the animals reaction. Sure is nice when it comes together, but not so nice when they move just enough to make it a bad shot.

      Get with Mr Barbee and get a string made up for that Montana and that bow will be as quiet as a mouse poot. Better luck next time!!!
