First hunt of the season

I just settled in for the first hunt of the season, first trad hunt in several years, with the first recurve that I made, hopping for my first deer with stick and string.

Just had a 130 at 15 yards for a half hour. If this were my place, I'd be shaking like a leaf and replaying the shot in my head right now.

I just wanna see deer. Movement at my places have sucked this year

Big group of doe came in toward last light. I got to half draw on one at about 12 yards and something blew them out like their tails were on fire... That was only my first hunt though, and there is plenty season left.
