Make sure your bow is not to heavy for you.

Start close to the target, to learn

Make sure you have a solid anchor and do it the same way every time

Crap, I should have said aim small, at a tiny dot. Arvin is right, that one is better!

              1.- practice
              2.- practice
              3.- practice
And if there was a fourth, it would be practice too.

#1 - Always make it about having fun.

2 & 3 have been cover already by other posts above.
Take your pick, they're all great tips.

The problem is I do none of those except Pick a spot. Don't do as I do do as I say do. Where did we here that.

Watch Rick Welch's Accuracy Factory Video

Follow each step in the video

Shoot one arrow at a time.

Yeah, because only Kevin Costner can bite a feather off an arrow, and shoot two at once...

my #1 tip would be do the same thing every time.. A person with bad form that makes the same shot every single time can still be a good shot..

1-Do NOT go too heavy in draw weight at first.
2-Learn form(specifically consistent grip and anchor)
3-Once you pick a Small spot, focus on it like it is your key to waking up tomorrow.

I know I say this alot BUT, here goes. Work on form in front of a blank bale. It is very hard (impossible for me) to work on form and think about aiming at the same time.
