He really needs to be here for the Hill Country Shoot. Or if you make it down the last weekend in August, you can join us at the Double L.

i stll dont know when ill come over again..but im really looking forward!
The hill ountry shoot sounds great and it would be very cool to join you at double l. but ill see..

I now have tuned my arrows and they came out to be 480 Grain.
What a rocket! i now draw 30" and that brings me to 56#@30.
The arrows are smoking fast ad the bow is still very quiet! i really like that stup for 3d!! now also shot out to 40yards are not too difficult...

        Thats for the advice

Heavy or not they should group. The flight should still be predictable no matter the weight. Maybe you should check out your rest, sight, nock point ext......

Glad you got it all figured out Daniel! How much did you end up having to cut off those ..500 shafts to get them stiff enough?

you need to setup a lighter competition bow with lighter arrows for 3D competitions
              from your hunting setup

I would think that 500 spine arrow that is over 30" long with 230 grains up front would be too soft on a 56# bow.
You should probably try bare shafting them to be sure.

well i cut them at 30,5" with 16 grain insert and 180 grain points.

I did the shoot through paper and the bareshaft.. only thing i figured out is that my nockpoint is a tad too high. the bareshaft hit right with the fleched arrows, maybe a bit on the weak side but not bad at all.

I was also surprised that the 500 spine isnt too weak.

They fly straight and hit hard!
