We have a small lease up in Oklahoma with two rental houses on either corner of the front of the property. In one of them lives a red hound that has apparently been running deer nightly on our lease.
I had a hunter call last weekend telling me the dog ran every deer off this little 100 acres that I have slaved over for the last 3 years to get the awesome deer we now have.
Well, the dang dog got me almost at full draw last night. The largest buck I have ever drawn down on was run right out from under me by the dang dog.
I love dogs and wont kill it, but the owner is a different story. Our landowner is friends with the sheriff and has called him in. Hopefully he can get through to this jerk. He says 'dogs are meant to run'.
Last year it was their paint horse that destroyed feeders, this year its their 4 dogs with the redbone in the lead.
Pray for me brothers, I don't like being this mad, but they have cost me thousands of dollars and me and my lease mates lost deer.
